  64. Hold-Anything is a program that keeps track of just about anything!  A
  65. unique feature allows you to organize entries into any category you wish,
  66. then view these categories separately or combined.

  68. Hold-Anything includes a feature that lets you specify any criteria to
  69. further limit the records displayed, and you can specify just about any
  70. criteria you can think of. You can then view, edit, or print just
  71. the records you selected.  You can also search for any string of
  72. characters in all records.

  74. Hold-Anything uses a Microsoft Access database.

  76. Here are just a few things you can use Hold-Anything to keep track of:
  77. Collections (albums, stamps, coins, cards, art, videos, software, etc.)

  123. ===== Installation =====================================

  125. If the Hold-Anything for Windows files are compressed into a single file
  126. such as HOLD100.ZIP, you must first uncompress that file into a single
  127. directory or diskette.  After uncompressing follow the directions below.
  128.  
  129. To install this program, first start Microsoft Windows.  Then, from the
  130. Windows Program Manager, select the File menu (or click the Start
  131. button if using Windows 95). Then choose Run. If the installation files
  132. are on a diskette, place this diskette into drive A or drive B.
  133.  
  134. Then type A:\SETUP (or B:\SETUP) and press Enter.  The Setup program
  135. will then take over.  After it starts, it will ask you where to install
  136. the program files.  The drive and directory are already filled in with
  137. C:\HOLDWIN.  This is usually where you want to install the files, so
  138. just press Enter and the installation will continue.  The installation
  139. program will copy the files to their proper places and create a
  140. Hold-Anything for Windows program group and icons in Windows for you.

  142. If the program installation files are located somewhere other than on
  143. a diskette, (such as in a directory on your C drive), instead of typing
  144. A:\SETUP, type the name of the drive and path first, followed by \SETUP
  145. and press ENTER.  For example, if the program files are located in a
  146. subdirectory called DOWNLOAD on your C drive, you should type
  147. C:\DOWNLOAD\SETUP and then press Enter to start the installation.

  149. After installation, you should click on the Hold-Anything Help icon and
  150. read each of the topics listed in the Help file.
